This is just gorgeous! I love the music, lyrics, and photography! And I love Joey and Topthorn. Read book; am anxiously awaiting Spielberg film and play (in SF, ca in Aug. 2012= so long to wait!). Is this original music by any chance? Also, do you have the sheet music?

@swygert321 i've seen the theatre version with the puppets and the film and the puppets are more convincing. they behave more like scared horses because obviously in the film they don't want to hurt or scare real horses. it's amazing how well the puppets work and how much of an effect they have on the whole audience.

i cried when bambi's mother died and when dumbo's mother died. i am being serious******** *SPOILER******* my friend told me joey's friend topthrone dies and if this is true. I will not be able to handle this movie

@mustangdreamer55 I meant my post below to be a reply to your post. The Spielberg film trailer is now on You Tube, and the film will open on 12/28/2011. I encourage anyone who can get to Lincoln Center in NYC before it closes, to give yourself an exceptional treat. I only wish I could afford to do it again!
