Since its independence, the country has experienced both periods of significant military and economic growth, and periods of instability, with the secession of East Pakistan (present-day Bangladesh).It has 4 provinces Sindh, Punjab, NWFP and Balouchistan. The major cities are Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore, Faisalabad, Hyderabad, Rawalpindhi, Peshawar, Quetta, Multan. Pakistani also resides in many famous cities of the world like London, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sarjah, Muscat, Jeddah, Cairo, Baghdad, New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, Houston, Washington, etc. Pakistanis most favorite sports is cricket both for boys and girls and is a leading cricketing nation among India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Kenya, England, New Zealand, Australia, West Indies.
