Aside from being one of the greatest goalies in hockey, he is name most synonymous with Cornell Big Red hockey, and his red #1 jersey now hangs from the rafters of Lynah Rink alongside Joe Nieuwendyk's #25. Though nearby Dryden, NY is not named after the hockey star, I find it fitting that he made his name near a village with his name at a school with the greatest hockey tradition in the NCAA.

I think the scores prove this wrong. He was considered to be very weak during that series. Yvan Cournoyer stated that he thought that Kenny was weak against the Russians (not just that series).
