  • Am I crazy or is this all one shot?? If so - very impressive. If not, they used the doorways as buffer I guess? Anyone, love C.J. and AJ - awesome!

  • Totally. Reminds me of the long steadicam shot in Magnolia where Stanley Specter and his father are arriving at the What Do Kids Know studio. It takes you from the parking lot all the way to the game show set.

  • ya know I have seen many great quotes here in the comments on this scene...but what I will contribute is this - "Almost Bangs against the headboard" :)

  • "how did that bullet not kill you"

oh please you'd cry your eyes out leo!

  • "I'm almost certain he's dead."

    "Sam!"

"I was making a joke too! What, you work alone?"

    Such a wonderfully quotable show.

  • @JillyX It's kind of a trademark of The West Wing. Sorkin loves the "Walk and Talk". It's more interesting than the "Stop and Chat", although that happens too. Usually at the height of an emotional scene, like when Sam is yelling at Donna about Black Water and high treason.

  • Make those actors earn their paychecks!

  • Do you know how ironic it is to listen to this with headphones or to watch a hearing on C-SPAN that may need to be classified as how are there checks-and-balances in United States of America, if they are classified? Sincerely, Jason Lowen

  • How did that bullet not kill you?

  • fucking. genious

  • I still say she did that to mess with him.

  • @JillyX

the west wing was famous for its ridiculously long oneshots.
