Well, this wasn't much effort. All I needed was to inflict Disease and Silence on Bomb King so that he doesn't Renew and/or call for help. Niho+Remedy/Echo Herbs = pwnage afterward.

You will notice I have a Defender. You can get a Defender from the moogle at the Orange Save Crystal in Balfonheim Port. He will give you the Defender after you talk to the Chocobo Wrangler and then to Gurdy.

Now I have Zodiac Spear for Ashe. Not too sure how much more useful it will be later.

I still need to beat this boss but the game made this boss to hard to beat at my level.

Do you have boss strategy videos(for all bosses)?

If you look at my Gambits Only Challenge for Bomb King, you can get the strategy I used. Just look up "gambits only bomb king" to see. If you are level 30, then he should be easy with two Murasame purchased at Phon Coast. An easier method is to use Niho+Remedy on him. Make sure to have Remedy lore 3 on the license board. Even silenced and Niho+Vaccine'd, this boy knows how to combo. If I were you, I'd switch Penelo in to apply Protect, maybe even Bubble.

Sometimes, casting buffs with Penelo is more hassle. Why? She can die in one shot before even casting Protect/Bubble/etc. But I guess I'll still use her. I have nothing to loose.

After Balthier and Ashe make so many actions, won't they get all the hate? When I fought Belias, I thought of a way to do the battle with Penelo not attracting much attention but casting all the buffs that make the battle actually possible.

I don't think it always works for me. I find that sometimes, even when the enemy is hating on the other characters, eventually, Penelo gets spotted. I've actually tried what you said in Tyrant battle earlier, but Penelo still gets raped.

on this pain in the butt boss i was at lv 26

beat him before jahara which was a first for me

i tried 3 times and said forget it and used a 13 combo with my qiuckings. once i beat him i said thank god!!!!!

then i almost died in the necrohol of nabudis getting the spear lol

anyways dont know how you do it but that was awesome!!!

I'd suggest taking down the LL rule, only in the case it really does turn out to be impossible.
