I just finished reading Bliss. It was an amazing book. Yet the style seems to change strongly through the novel. I find it hard to reconsile to writing of the begining and middle.. with the end.
Oh so counterproductive, I don't agree with you DevaRupa, maybe you did not feel the beauty of his words in that one, but his magic shone through nevertheless... Have 'Bliss' and 'Oscar and Lucinda' more convinced you? If you haven't read those yet, please do, because otherwise you really miss something. Lest you were not fond of the themes he were touching in "My Life as a Fake"... He does like to hit where it hurts...
