You should have mentioned to never buy drinks from Kiosks (those vans), I once went to buy a bottle of coca cola, and the price was insanely high because I'm a tourist.

@RoyBlox8 that is a good point. Much better off going to a supermarket where the price will be 3 times cheaper.

not everyone has all these new gadgets. it would be good if they just tell the way to get around town. it wouuld be alot easier for people who are slower than others on trying to find there way. they think everybody comes to different countries knows how to get everywhere on there own. its not always easy for some. bus is better than taxi or train. italians love to take advantage of people especially if they are selling fruit on the back of there trucks. they like slip in bad fruit not good

@SoraQuasar Excellent advice. As a expat living in Rome, there is one tourist restaurant I will recommend to those who need an American style salad. Insalata Ricca. I often recommend this chain to American students abroad who are having trouble adjusting to the food in Italy or clients who have been in Italy for a couple weeks and want a taste of home. I also love the closeness of the tables when I am alone- I usually spark up a conversation with visiting Americans sitting next to me.

@fernandesfran This happens quite a bit. For lack of a better phrase- taxi drivers take advantage of most passengers. In the backseat of every taxi (as mentioned in the video) are rates and rules. There is a set rate for a taxi from FCO to central Rome which is €40 plus €1 per bag. All taxis will argue this and try to get you to pay more. Just go inside your hotel and get help or say you need to clarify the rule with the police if you must. I once took a €90 taxi ride and still cringe.

@gnoccafan There are other tickets you can purchase- but not always available. There is a €4 ticket you can purchase good till 12M on the day you purchase it. One thing maybe that should be mentioned is that in Rome rules are very... flexible. Often tourists find themselves confused because Italians tend to make up the rules as they go along/what they will sell you, ect. As residents we find the best way to get around is the €1/75 minute tix, which I think is why this was the information given.

she doesn't tell you the other tickets you need. thats a tour guide for you. giving you the write instrusctions what to do but very little understanding more about the tickets. there are several other tickets especially one good all day not just for 75 minutes.

rome does not allow park cars in the center of rome unless you live that area. not even allow for people who live close to rome. when they have weddings they have no way to let you walk easier with your high heel shoes or even if its the weather . the church and law makes me angry when there family and friends gets married there and you have to travel by taxi, bus, or by foot. its embrassing and stupid what there laws are like for people who don't live in that section of town.

yeah thats why italy has no manners to stop or not enough of red lights for them to stop. europe is going to be crazy anyway the way they drive. they rather run you over or drive in front of you. thats why they need numbers . they don't know what a straight line is without cutting in front of someone. very hard for people to come and live in europe or to visit and not know the bus number to take in the center of rome they don't have no one to help them. you find tourist books on bus routes

You can take the Leonardo Express train from Fiumicino airport to Termini station for 11 Euros. The trains run at regular intervals and the ride takes approx. 30 minutes. The girl doing this presentation is a hottie! And a very smart one too. wow!
