We're so excited to have completed the first project in Hannah's nursery. Currently we have Newborn and 0-3 month clothing hanging in her closet. We used 16" wide sheets of MDF from Home Depot for the basic shelving. The Ikea Expedit bookcase ($60) with 3 pink Ikea Dröna baskets for $5 each provide the basis for the design. The plastic containers on the shelf are from Target. The hamper was $4 at Wal-Mart. The wicker basket was $1 at Goodwill. A tutorial on the closet dividers will be posted shortly. Between hand-me-downs from Hannah's cousin Kylie, garage sales and my consignment purchases, 99% of the clothing is second hand and cost ~ $150.

  • Awesome, functional, attractive closet! Love your videos!!!!

  • I have a small room for our nursery and think this closet is awsome for tight spaces, only ? is my husband isn't all that crasftman did you and chris just use wood that you cut to get the closet rod to go into and buy those circle things they fit into, idk if that makes any since hopefully so but I am trying to figure out how you exactly did that because I am probably going to be doing most of the work haha well thanks so much!

  • You could also put floor length pink shear curtains (lightweight ones) and pull them to the sides. It would look so cute :)

  • You made this on the day my daughter was born.

  • Awesome job on this very impressive. I have two questions. 1.) did you screw brackets against the expedit as well or just against the wall for the hanging rod and 2.) are the lower shelves being supported by the same brackets used for the rod or did you install different ones for the shelves. Again awesome video

  • This closet is A-MAZE-INGGG !

  • Wow!! this closet is amazing!
