yeah but still would of been nice to see and when i say this dont get me wrong i love tony soprano but it would of been better if they ended the show with chris whacking tony soprano i always thought how it would end in the back of my mind better than just blank and i hated tony for killing chris i know its just a show but i wante chris to play in the serious the whole way through

I think Paulie was trying to defend Chris. Paulie said that Chris "must have known the gun was empty" Meaning that he never really was going to kill Tony.
