Watson feels that "no human community should be larger than 20,000 people," human populations need to be reduced radically to "fewer than one billion," and only those who are "completely dedicated to the responsibility" of caring for the biosphere should have children, which is a "very small percentage of humans." He likens humankind to a virus, the biosphere needs to get cured from with a "radical and invasive approach," as from cancer.

Watson remains the leader of Sea Shepherd today and uses the title "Captain" in reference to his role in the organization, although he has never been licensed as a ship's captain.

In a subsequent book, Ocean Warrior, Watson reiterated this view, saying: Survival in a media culture meant developing the skills to understand and manipulate media to achieve strategic objectives.... ie to lie .

Nature needs people like those in sea shepherd, but how can an organization gain the outside (political) influence it needs when it's principals are so inherently flawed. The SS Society wage war against the whalers by provoking them until they get a reaction and then slaughtering them in the media with lies. Their founder and president openly endorses a no-truth policy and their funding is based on blinding the willing and the ignorant with false righteousness.

I lost a discussion? Oh you mean by me asking what is your definitive proof that Paul wasn't shot, and then you give me your opinion because you know everything about ballistics right? Did I say he was a god? Yeah, he's an ordinary man by many respects. PS youtube videos aren't exactly forums, and I can lose a debate that never started, the concept of having a debate with you is kind of laughable.
