I never heard this one before... and I have been a serious Butterfield fan since the 1960's...!
Is there more like this somewhere...?
Incedentally... There is a fairly rare record called "Sammy Lay in Bluedland" on "Blue Thumb" records. It is the same lineup as the PBBB on East-West album. Find it and GRAB it...! You won't believe Mike Bloomfield's take on Chuck Berry's "You Can't catch Me"...! Seriously.

Yup. Butterfield covered 'Baby please don't go' on the' Better days' album, to good effect.

The tune is actually called 'Mother in Law Blues'-original by Junior Parker. The bootleg cd this is taken from lists it,incorrectly as 'Baby Please Don't Go'.
