  • I'm from Winnipeg, Canada and was in highschool when this movie came out. You would not believe the phenomenon this movie was in Winnipeg. 40% of the sales for this album were in Winnipeg helping it go to gold in Canada. Nobody knows to this day why Phantom was such a big hit in Winnipeg. Paul Williams even came to Winnipeg that year to see what all the fuss was about, lol. I recently bought the DVD on Amazon and still love this music. I said I wouldn't, but I'm now going to get the CD.

  • I've loved this movie and the music since it was re-released in theaters in 1976. Although I was too young to appreciate the campy comedy, I always loved the music and now can appreciate the GREAT work Paul Williams did on this and many other films during the "Satanic '70's" as Swan put it on the back of the album. Great fun that holds up to the 21st Century!
