TGTBT: JB Love Story Chapter 21

(Back with Jenna, Joe, Kristie and Nick. They were sitting in the living room, doing nothing. All of a sudden, Kristie pounced up on her feet and ran upstiars. The three looked at each other, confused. Moments later, Kristie came back down the stairs, a CD player under her arm and a HEUGE CD case...)

JENNA: What are you doing, Krist?
KRISTIE: Were gonna have our own mini party until Kassidy and Kevin get back.
NICK: Sounds fun.
JENNA: Yeah it does! *pops a CD and the radio blares "The Last Night by Skillet"*
JOE: *sings* You came to me with scars on your wrists..
NICK: *sings* You tell me this will be the last night feeling like this..
JENNA: *sings* Just came to say goodbye..
KRISTIE: *sings* Didnt want you to see mr cry...Im fine..
JOE & NICK: *sing together* But I know its a lie...

(The keep dancing, singing and making up weird dances. Just letting lose and having fun. They eventually went to the kitchen to get snacks , including RedBull. Many CDs later...)

JENNA: We have to listen to my song. *puts in a CD and it blasts "I Will Remember You by Ryan Cabrera"*
KRISTIE: *laughs* Your song, huh?
JENNA: Yeah. This is my favorite song ever! *sings* Eight years later,
time goes by fast,
got my memories,
and they will last,
I try to keep it simple,
cause I hate goodbyes,
and I try to keep it simple,
by telling myself that,

and all of the things,
that we've gone through,
There is so much I can say,
but words get in the way..

JENNA & JOE: *sing together* So when were not together, I will remember you.. *smile*
JOE: *sticks out his hand* May I have this dace?
JENNA: Sure. *takes his hand and puts her arms around his neck*
JOE: *puts his arms around her waist*
NICK: Wanna dance? *sticks his hand out to Kristie*
KRISTIE: *smiles* Why not. *takes his hand*
NICK: *wraps his arms around her waist*
KRISTIE: *wraps her arms around his neck*
JENNA: *rests her head on Joe's shoulder* Joe?
JOE: Yeah, Jen?
JENNA: Were going to be okay, right? I mean when I leave tomorrow, were going to stay together?
JOE: Of course, Jen. I wouldnt want to lose you. *knotts his hand in her hair* You still have this, remember? *uses his other hand to fiddle with the ring on her finger*
JENNA: *smiles* Yeah.
JOE: Jenna, I love you so much. Dont forget that.
JENNA: I love you too, Joe. I wont forget that.
JOE: *smiles*

(Back with Kassidy. She was sitting in the passenger seat of Kevin's car, crying non-stop. There was eyeliner and mascara running down her face, covering her blotchy cheeks. She kept trying to hold it in and wipe the tears but, it seemed like new ones would just take there place. Her hands were shaking and she tried turning on the radio to calm her nerves but, all the stations were playing love songs. That only made her cry even harder. When she gained strength, she wiped the mascara and eyeliner smudges from her face and weakly opened the car door. She walked across the parking lot and into the club, being greeted by deperate men. She looked all around the club for any sign of Kevin. When she finally saw him, he was dancing to a slow song with Hayley. Her heart dropped and she tried hard to make sure her mouth didnt drop open too. His hands were around her waist and her arms were held tightly around his neck. When Kevin finally made eye contact with Kassidy, he let go of Hayley and ran over to her...)

KEVIN: Kass, whats wrong?
KASSIDY: I want to go.
KEVIN: Why? Whats wro--
KASSIDY: *cuts him off* Kevin...I want to go home.
KEVIN: *a little taken back* Umm okay.

(They walk out of the club and to Kevin's car. The drive home was pure silence and it wasnt the good kind of silence. This silence haunted them and it didnt let go of them until they finally got home. Kassidy didnt hesitate to get out of Kevin's car and slam the door right behind her. Kevin quickly got out of the car, following her...)

KEVIN: Kass, whats wrong?
KASSIDY: What do you mean 'whats wrong'? *her voice was loud as she spun to yell in his face*
KEVIN: I dont know what I did wrong. *his voice and face was surprised and hurt*
KASSIDY: Right. Of course you dont. But why should I explain it to you? If I wasnt 'with you tonight'? ! Because you went to the club 'alone', right?
KEVIN: Im sorry, Kass. I didnt mean it.
KASSIDY: No, because if you didnt mean it then you would have paid a little attention to me! And you would have been dancing with ME! Not that other girl!
KEVIN: Why didnt you say anything then?
KASSIDY: I shouldnt have to say anything! You should have never brought me there if you were just going to ignore me and flirt with some other girl! Its common sense!
KEVIN: That wasnt just some other girl. I knew her. She's my ex.
KASSIDY: *laughs half-heartedly once* Yeah, because that just makes it SO much better, Kevin!
KEVIN: C'mon, Kass.
KASSIDY: *shakes head as tears began falling down her face* No, Kevin.
