China to launch Pakistan communication satellite PAKSAT 1R satellite

After a 26 minutes flight into space, Paksat-1R has been successfully inserted into transfer orbit earlier today. The satellite will provide tele-communication and data services to cover South Asia, East Africa, the Middle East and part of Europe. Paksat-R1 was built using the advanced DFH-4 platform designed for high efficiencies and large data handling requirements. The staellite will operate in two bands with 30 channels using three high-gain antennas.
The satellite was launched on top of a CZ-3C vehicle at Xichang Satellite Launch and Space Center in Sichuen Province.
After completion of orbit maneuver and further testings, the satellite will be turned over to Pakistan via in-orbit handover procedures.
China also provides equipments and related construction know-hows for two ground stations in Pakistan.

although i don't understand space high techs, but i know satellites are very important for a country's development in agriculture, irrigation, communication... and etc.

@ohmyholymothergod Yes by the grace of Almighty :) indeed that's an achievement, and to meet the National Space Program 2040, we'll be launching series of Satellites in coming years plus A local launch pad is also under development phases...I guess next we'll have a remote sensing satellite within a year :)
