Eric Cantona once said that a great goal is one that is both beautiful and important. This is the epitome of both. If he hadn't completed his hat trick with that incredible goal, Barca would've drawn 2-2 and Valencia would've finished 4th and taken the Champions League spot. You never know what would've happened, but Barca could have really suffered from missing out on the Champions League and never recovered, certainly not to the level they're at today.
