Maybe it is because I am Canadian that I It honestly baffles me that Americans are ok with the government wasting money to fight "terrorism", an imaginary threat, yet you think it's ok to let people die of cancer. The life and well-being of a country's citizens is infinitely more important than the military, arts & culture, or even the economy. American government is about helping the rich at the expense of the poor. ObamaCare is too good for America I guess.

@fightxsong I live in NY and we have dozens of Canadians that come here for Cancer and medical treatment because they do not want to wait in line. It is not the governemnts job to supply anything but insure that freedom of the individual is maintained. Govt supplies Social Security insurance here. The sad reality is they force you to give them money that they will hold for you in the future then they debase the $ with inflation so they can pay their bills but u can't.

The wolf legislation in sheep's clothing. Laws in today's America may be written by house and senate lawyers but special interest groups with money help write the legislation. If you think your government is corrupt why would you think they could write any good legislation when the process itself has not changed.
