@xxdanxexx Yeah, I haven't really heard Night is the new day, I keep finding the newer souped up sound to be a little too pop-production and although I know they've all developed as musicians since LFDGD I can't help but feel a bit put off by it. It's as though they had to trade off some of the awesome songwriting for this new commercialised, tighter professional version. I really wish they'd kept the best of both worlds as no-one does funereal riffing like Blakkheim.

@crosboid I was under the impression that I would never meet anyone that doesn't dog the shit out of BMD as their best work. If not that it's usually TGCD... Although I have to say that Departer off of Night is the New Day is definitely my favorite closer of theirs.

I'm incredibly taken aback. After marveling over the pure mastery of Night is the New Day, I refuse to believe the same band put out this generic tripe.
