Robot star of panto season

A 7ft tall robot will scare the kids but also belt out a tune when he takes a starring role at this year's Christmas pantomime at the Theatre Royal. Titan the Amazing Giant Robot put on a show for shoppers at Grey's Monument in Newcastle before he treads the boards in a production of Robinson Crusoe and the Caribbean Pirates.

I saw him in Robin Hood when it was in Nottingham back in '09. Too funny that he's in a Captain Morgan commercial. Good thing we don't have Pantos in the states with him in them or it would be totally wrong.
