Saw this movie twice.. on tv.. since I don't have it on DVD or VHS :( I fell in love with it the first time. This is a wonderful scene.. but every scene with Julie and/or Alan is great. Alan as Gabriel is my favourite character. How I love that man. It's truly beyond me how much needed to happen for Bathsheba to realize the extent of Gabriel's unselfish love and friendship. I'm just glad they got together in the end. Thanks for the clip!

he is a good actor and if there is something to learn from this movie is dont make any promises you cannot keep and by that i mean dont tell women how it's gonna end, you gotta keep a woman interested by him telling her how it is gonna be he just made her lose interest. i learned that and it works.
