Table saw kickback

I made this animation for my construction class about table saw safety and what happens when you ignore the safety rules. After getting 97% on it, I decided to post it on youtube so other people don't have to spend hours trying to find a good video

my friend got a kickback and it was a 2by 2 pice od plywood and it spun ninja star for 5 feet and hit me in the nuts it was horrible i thought i was gonna die. it was on video cause we got cameras in the shop. imgonna try to get the tape

Interesting effort with the animation, but it is not showing "kickback". "Entanglement" perhaps.

@themegajosh09 The answer to avoiding entanglement ISN'T to avoid long sleeves - it's to use a long push stick which leaves your hands 12in or more away from the blade at all times. It's what professional carpenters in Europe are taught to do.

Kickback is best dealt with by two things: a short Euro-style rip fence (which eliminates side pinch between the blade and the fence) and a correctly-sized riving knife or splitter directly behind the saw blade.
