Why do people always put Forrest Gump on these lists? Most overrated piece of poop ever. I tried to give it another chance recently. Nope. Couldn't even finish it. And I'm gonna have to respectfully disagree with a previous comment. I, for one, was glad to see Contact on here. While definately not perfect it was one of the better "thinking person's sci-fi" movies of the decade along with Gattaca and the criminally underrated Dark City.

Contact, wtf the worst movie ever made in history, I mean come on Jodie Foster in a leading role for christ's sake, she's only good as a supporting actress (Silence of the Lambs for instance), they should have given her spot to Julianne Moore she would have ran for miles with this part
