Everybod knows left/right is BS. Its as fake as wrestling. They appear diometrically opposed to eachother, but thats simply not the case. Thanks for your comment....but if we did divide the U.S. you would be very surprised at how similar the opposing sides looked. As we know, BOTH sides would be looking for "extremists" from the other side. 2 police states if you will, looking for ghosts.NO DIFFERENCE

@FreedumbFighter28 i agree with you more or less. but i think the best thing would be to divide the country in half and give one half to democrats and one half to republicans... i wonder which one would flourish =) i'd bet that within 30 years, the democrats will be begging the republicans to airdrop food on em.

This really is a great talk and completely worth watching. I particularly appreciate their notions of civic virtue and patriotism that are universal and progressive and that define us as an exceptional, yet humble nation.

Liu and Hanauer are engaging Americans in a new political dialog -- one of values and principles, not just policies and issues. This is long overdue. The American left has been floating without foundation for far too long. This is a great talk. Pop some popcorn and get comfy!
