I found some old photos from the 1980's showing a destruction derby and some stock car racing from Antioch Speedway. I was showing my friend the photos and he bet me that I'd have a photo of his ex-wife's father in there. I was dubious, but sure enough he found a picture of his ex-in-laws and even a photo of his ex way before she was even his current. I thought it was amusing that in my collection of stuff my friend would run across someone he knew. Points out how small the world is and that we are all interconnected.

  • #10 is Mike Gummus. I work on his car up here at Willamette Speedway in Lebanon, Oregon. #23a was Rick Myers. #95 IS Big Ed Sheppard although he is no longer big. #67 is Linda warner #14 is Kevin Pylant #4a is Len Mello trophy girl is Vanessa Skaggs, Willie Myatts Daughter

  • I know the 67a car is Lynda Warner, the Warners are who we bought our first street stock from. The 14 late model a young Steve Hendren maybe? Awesome photos! Brought back memories of my days growing up at that race track. Thank You!
