  • Well mike..Im straight E9 right now, but I have a new G2 D10 coming and I am considering changinf some things...The unciversal is a combination of E9 on top and 6 on the bottom...

  • No, gregieb0i, that's a pedal steel guitar. The dobro-type instruments are played in a somewhat similar manner, but they have a different and quite distinctive sound. To see what a dobro looks like, go to Google Images and do a search for "dobro". They look very different from the pedal steel. Many of us think they're both great instruments.
