Inspired by Doogy9 and his week of baritone uke videos.
I havent really done this for awhile, so there are a few warts in the vid - please dont hate me.
I was a little hung over, I can provide many other excuses if they become necessary. Maybe Ill redo it later.
This marks the film debut of my "classic" Lindell baritone uke. Picked it up from ebay last year.
The uke is pretty beat up, but I really like the way it sounds. It puts my Samick uke to shame.
When I got the Lindell, it had some crappy mismatched friction tuners and steel strings (!). I replaced the tuners with the set that was on my Hilo soprano uke. The Hilo uke is now a birdhouse in my backyard.
I dont really learn songs all that well, mostly I just sit around noodling with the basic chords. This little ditty is the result of me trying to use some of the things I learned from playing around with my banjo. Hammer-ons, hammers offs, thumb brush etc. Other than that, its just a simple G, C, D, G, D, C chord progression. Some day, Ill try to learn a few more chords.
Go to tangier sound or look up youtube user dobro33h if your looking for help with frailing banjo, uke or guitar.
yep, I love it too! ;°)
