The stock HPI e-savage doesn't come with any cooling fans. To improve performance, and to lengthen the life of the speed control and motors it's easy to mount fans onto both. 40mm on speedo, 80mm, 92mm or 120mm on motor.

  • I would get a 9v battery to power the fan especially the big one that is going to shorten your run times.

  • thx, I like the way u mounted the fan on top of the motors

  • Cooler will last longer and perform better. My motors never got overly warm either, but i know a lot of people need to use the fans on the motors with 2x 7 cells as they get a bit too warm

  • why are you calling it a speedo? do you find pleasure in speedos? are you gay?

  • Seems a bit over the top to be honest, i thrash the balls of my e-savage true the motors get warmish but not as hot as the batteries do !!
