I just didn't get up...saw the complete 11 parts at a go!
Hope due credit is given to Islam, hope the Europeans realise, hope the world starts thinking once again...with a neutral bent of mind.
May the almighty bring peace & knowledge to all.
A brilliant documentary!

@MrChgfm No not really, but ok

@asherfawad They were made, over and over again but cannot fully succeed because 90% of the wealth is controlled by 10% of the population despite numerous efforts to topple the plutocracy that has been a cancer in Mexico for ages. Our Independence was consummated not by one Patriotic Army like in the United States but by two polar opposite armies that sealed a pact against Spain: The Conservative Army of Iturbide and the Liberal army of Guerrero. It's been Eurocentrics vs Indigenists ever since

@xm377Moyocoyatzin Interesting insight. You know I have always wondered why did Mexico remained behind while her neighbor USA reached the height of progress. It is so unfortunate that EVEN living so GEOGRAPHICALLY contiguous to USA, no progress reached Mexico. Compare this to the past. How the knowledge seekers from eastern Europe would flock to Muslim spain and return to their countries igniting fire of Rennaisance. Why no such attempts were made by Mexicans????

I view Al-Andulucian period as another great achievement on road to human progress. I see this as how Olympic Torch is handed from one player down to another player eventually reaching the final destination. The quest for knowledge passed from Greeks to Arabs and from Arabs to the Christian world each time taking humanity to whole new world of accomplishments. This should be noted as Human progress and should NOT be politicized as a Muslim or Christian thing.

WELL DONE!! Very Very nicely produced documentary from many aspects. I was thoroughly entertained:
a) The host has a very captivating and emotion-stimulating style of commentary.
b) Very good editing; piecing together of the history told in a new light showing Muslims as developers of Spain rather than destroyer. Full justice has been done to Muslims' contribution.
c) I love the way the story started with disproving and finally admitting that East is East and West is West.

That's an amazing documentary, doesn't matter who make or carry the knowledge. Its extremely important to protect history. I think Europe would have reached the climax of technology and science if they have adopted "curtuba" as an example; city of knowledge and harmony. But westerns were too ashamed to do so because they would have to accredit Muslims so they decided to wipe off the Muslim's heritage and create their own identity even if it has to slow them down.
oooooooooooooh a saucy novelist can't miss that.
