Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation of a 2D flow around a cylinder, calculated with the lattice Boltzmann method. A periodic von Karman Vortex Street is produced at this Reynolds number (Re=220).

The simulation was executed with a self-contained 1-page Python script. In spite of its extreme simplicity, the code features accurate inflow, outflow, no-slip, and symmetry boundaries.
