@Kokainuser Oh yea. They are all professional trapeze artists. You try getting just one person stand on your shoulders on solid ground with no water flow or slippery rocks underfoot? 5 people? And with only seconds to spare? Sorry Mr Spock it wouldnt work.

Obviously they were not being stupid. They got scared when the water started to rush toward them. I think they did not move because they thought that moving while the water was going would sweep them off the cliff. They thought the best thing was to stand still and wait for the water to calm down. Don't call them stupid, they did their best just like you would have with your family.
