  • You seem like such a down to earth guy, which is so unlike large company heads. I actually plan to use some of your ideas. I was blown away by the little things idea, such a great idea because of how simple it is. I was sitting there thinking how I'd not be able to stop myself going back for more if a little extra like that had been added to my delivery, so it'd be fantastic to do that for others, and I plan too. Really though, thanks for the series. I learnt a lot.

  • Derek, I appreciate your energy and awesome ideas. Thanks for illuminating us, and thanks for CDBaby, too!! Cheers! :)

  • I really enjoyed the series, just got done watching all 8 parts. I've never really thought about owning my own business, but you have definitely given me food for thought, it's been my husband's dream for years to become an entrepreneur, I will definitely steer him to these videos. Thanks for sharing your wisdom and experiences.

  • The squid must have been a dried squid, which is popular in the East Asia. It is an acquired taste in the West, but it is actually tastes sweet and very popular in Asia.

  • @derekSivers Our deck building company offers a "lunch discount"... This little discount tied to food does the same thing as the pizza bit did for you, it made us more human. Good stuff!

  • "Change takes pizza" this is awesome :-P !

  • ME - SUBSCRIBED!

    THANK YOU FOR SHARING :)

    Greetings from Moldova :)

  • Really inspiring Derek - thanks for recording. And for keeping it simple ... and real. Love your energy. (I worked in Jakarta for about 4 years (in the 90s) - HK and a bit too - so visited Singapore often (for visa renewals and to access western-size brands. I'm nearly 6 foot, so Indonesian clothes wouldn't fit ... the pre-internet-shopping era))!! :)

  • I really love your talk. You are one of the smartest guy I found in youtube !!!

  • @dereksivers I love your clips. Will be great to meet for espresso and chocolate in Singapore. I also love your hairstyle
