How many men would rush to their ex wives side after they were charged with killing their boyfriends. Andy was just what Claudine needed during her awful ordeal with the law and he has won my utmost respect for it.

When I think of the beauty of my growing up years..........the Andy Williams show was a huge part of it. It's hard to imagine having grown up without the great variety shows. I wouldn't choose another time to have grown up in.

It was the BEST time to grow up.
Even if Claudine was shagging Spider Savage...and then killed him.

@lanceand That, along with Bridget the Midget and Ahab the Arab. There was another Stevens song that was a spoof on lodge meetings. I can't remember the name of it.
-
@CarolinaNIM Ah yes. How could we ever forget Gitarzan? A song I don't think I've heard since the 70s. Perhaps it's best left there ;-)

@lanceand I remember Ray Stevens did a summer replacement show for Andy. In Ray's first show, the bear came to the door and Ray invited him right in.

@CarolinaNIM Ha ha. I can almost picture it. Maybe with Donnie and Marie on the sidelines. Great show. I wish there were still shows like that.

@lanceand No cookies! Not now! Not ever! NEVER!

@catndryer You and I are probably in the same age range. Think about all of the great talent that came over just 3 channels back in that day, not just Andy Williams but Perry Como, Dean Martin, and the list goes on. Now, with all the ridiculous money made by for the most part far less talented people, it's impossible to cost effectively produce such shows anymore. Better to have had what we did on 3 channels than the 300 channel jungle today.

You are right! She is an evil woman, who double crossed Williams and deliberately shot the poor innocent skier. Evil woman!

Great Version! :D

These comments are awful, but not a bit surprising...
The shooting was an accident...
I'm very glad to see this here...
Thank you for uploading it for us...^Cocoa^
PS. I wish you would remedy your discription text...
I agree with all the comments. The description of the video is indeed hilarious! But I just watched an old Christmas special with them, and I miss them and my youth...I remember those years so well. I hope they both are happy and well now.
