Wow, i didn't know that their quartz model (RIP!) actually had a sweep rather than a tick! Sweet!! Always wondered if their owners were just so cool they didn't care if people thought it was fake!!

Very Nice! Super Rare!

Wow, such a perfect sweep! Why doesn't Rolex make their mechanicals that smooth?
-
I'm surprised with the amount of idiots here who know about the Rolex Oyster Quartz....
-
gota love the smooth sweep

100% genuine, exceptionally rare, a very fine example and very valuable...SUPERB!
-
Wow................. thats an AWESOME sweep.

Great video, didn't know the Beta Quartz Module had a sweep second hand. Definitely in contrast to the later Oysterquartz models - you have a truly rare piece :)

have 1 Rolex 5100 18k Gold in sell.. contac me
If this is a real Rolex please post a reference number, otherwise we have to assume it's a fake. The '70 to '72 time frame makes no sense.

@Muncheroni the reference is in the title :-)
5100 - the only limeted series with external numbering, no standard Rolex serial numbers but 001 to 999

maybe the dial is a aftermarket but, you cannot get such a perfect sweep on any cheap quartz or automatic

It's not aftermarket - it's limited series of 999 watches build 1970-72. Just serviced in Geneva.

1070? How that?
Rolex is in Business since 1905 and in 1970 the first Rolex Quartz were sold.
