At 3,776m, MOUNTAIN TORQ is the worlds highest, and Asias very first, via ferrata. It is not something normally associated with Kota Kinabalu, which is a popular destination in South East Asia with travellers looking for pristine waters and relaxing beaches.
Mountain Torq is located at Mount Kinabalu's Panar Laban rock face. It starts at 3,411 metres and ends at 3,776 metres. The next highest via ferrata is found at the Italian Dolomites called the Marmolada West ridge, which is. at its highest point 3,343 metres.
