actually tristian fry was the drummer and francis monkman was the original keyboard player.
i saw them live in melbourne in about 1980 and was a life changing experience for me. As i am now a drummer in 3 bands.

@herbiethefirst I do agree about spectacle and music, sometimes you need it sometimes not, take the Goldberg Variations for instance, who needs spectacle there, the music is king. I do concur on that thought, but maybe we will not agree on Cannonball, but this is healthy, that is what makes us individual.

@sijag68 Spectacle and music together can make a nice show, but music in it's purest form is sometimes enough for a lot of people. Just the same for outing their emotions. "Een glimlach is vaak intenser dan een bulderlach" Sorry, ain't got no translation for this.

In respect of this , i suppose i don't care for music. At least i am in good company though, neither do the audience care for music. One look tells all... sorry Herbiethefirst, but these are session musicians and not even a proper band!!, sad that this songs only claim to fame was via a Soviet TV program. The tune is at best average, at worst poor.

@sijag68 "You don't really care for music, do you"

fuck me..!! just look at the keyboard, sad as you like!! why are the guitarists sat down?? look at Monkman on the drums!!, best of all how bored are the audience!!

@lunchboxattacks1 My thoughts exactly! He'll be playing blistering riffs next if he doesn't calm down! lol
Would love to see Sky reform again, even if only for a short time, for us baby boomers and their kids to relive those great sounds again LIVE!
