The Centro de Língua Portuguesa & Luso Learning Centre, located in the downtown Toronto, is a meeting point for anyone interested in lusophone culture and for those who want to study or teach Portuguese and/or English.

We use the most up-to-date pedagogical and technical resources vital to the teaching of modern languages: communicative approach based on immersion techniques for communication, authentic material (newspapers, magazines, audio and video-DVDs, multimedia tools).

We offer classes for children, teenagers and adults for levels from beginner to proficiency, all year round. Our programs are carefully divided into progressive learning levels. Specific programs leading to certificate and diplomas are also available. Applicants with previous Portuguese skills are given a placement interview to integrate the level that best suits their needs.

LLC offers a full range of language courses and official exams (CAPLE).




The Luso Learning Centre is a unique place to learn and experience language and education. Adults and children can learn language and develop important skills in a stimulating friendly and authentic environment.
Mission
The mission of our organization is to promote cultural exchanges, to introduce our students to the Lusophone world in all its diversity, to facilitate the integration of new immigrants in Canada through our ESL program, and to develop early childhood education.

The Luso Learning Centre is divided into four major sections:

- Portuguese Language Centre (Portugal, Brazil, Portuguese speaking Africa, Timor);
- English as a Second Language
