The Dark Knight International Trailer

The international trailer for "The Dark Knight" (directed by Christopher Nolan) has been released for the public. Christian Bale reprises his role as Batman with Heath Ledger as the Joker, the infamous, psychopathic, mass murdering, and schizophrenic arch-nemesis of Batman. Aaron Eckhart plays Harvey Dent, the handsome and intelligent District Attorney of Gotham, whose battle with the Joker takes a dark toll on him. Michael Caine returns as Bruce Wayne's faithful butler Alfred, Gary Oldman reprises the role of Lieutenant Jim Gordon, and Morgan Freeman portrays the character Lucius Fox once again. Maggie Gyllenhaal replaces Katie Holmes as Assistant District Attorney Rachel Dawes who will be involved in a possible love triangle with Bruce Wayne and Harvey Dent. "The Dark Knight" comes out on July 18, 2008 in North America and on July 25, 2008 in the United Kingdom.
