This is my 98 Pontiac Grand Prix GT. It's got quite a few mods including the L67 Top End Swap.

This run was made untuned on 11* timing advance, 12 PSI, no traction in first gear as you can tell lol I eased off the line REALLY softly, and hammered it at 20, but it still spun haha. With a good launch 0-60 is about 4.8-5.0 seconds. I understand it looks slow for a 3.0 setup, but I am in Colorado at 6000 feet.

This car would run 12's at sea level.

Let off at 70 due to a minivan in front of me lol

  • it's amazing what actually talking cars will uncover about a persons knowlege on a subject isn't it?

unless you just want to go back to shouting "NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT" like Vrz3's approach... that seemed to be getting somewhere XD

  • @MrVerzGTP Pretty bold statement considering. Ok. I will play with the grand prix crowd once again. Supercharged cars don't lose power @ 6,000rpm? When did I say that? If you are dealing with a centrifugal than no, they do not btw, but in owning a grand prix I'm sure you think the only supercharger that matters is a roots style charger lol. Gtps are notorious for losing top end fast, not just because of the supercharger, but the gear ratio and the 4 speed auto its attached to.

  • @bharsen Wow I had forgotten just how fucking STUPID you really are. The above statement will prove this. So supercharged cars don't lose power at 6,000 ft now? LOL! You sir are a fucking moron. You should be driving a fucking Honda you fucking ricer.

  • Wow, nice. Is this auto or manual?

  • man i <3 grand prixs. LONG LAST PONTIAC

  • 3800 series II engines are beasts

  • 5 seconds for a grand prix is astonishing. especially considering its 2 seconds quicker than stock

  • That seemed pretty quick.

  • notice the beginning of the video takes about 2 seconds off? if at 7 seconds he's going 60, subtract 2 and that gives you 5 seconds to 60.

thats a nice 3.8 you have there.

  • @jrzguitarist you dont know anything

  • even with a perfect launch theres no way this car would hit 60 in under 5 seconds...if you even said 6 seconds id still have trouble believing it..even with a supercharger the 4 speed auto trannys in these cant put the power to the ground..and even if you can its not worth the money, time or effort to tune these cars.

    however i have a solution..

    get a better car..
