  • the Shuttle is an amazing machine to bad it is going to retire in a month

  • nasa.gov/mission_pages/LRO/multimedia/lroimages/apollosites.html...ok morons? now shut the fuc up!

  • @26bulduklu50 -- WTF??? This is one of the most assinine, dumbest, foolish & downright stoooopid arguments the loony MoonFake zealots disseminate. WHERE the FU? is the wind supposed to come from on a supposed soundstage anyway? The plastic flag simply flutters from vibration of the flagpole's motion as its inserted into the moon's surface. Granted NASA likely & inexplicably injected earth-based footage into the official record for dramatic PR effect, but that doesn't invalidate moon landings.

  • Thanks obama for cutting their funding!

  • @FoosMasoos That is irrelevant. Even if the space shuttles were "advanced enough" to go to the moon, they were designed to transport people and materials into orbit. And that's what they did.

  • @7olusegun

i think all of this is fake.. because the flag in 1:21 is fluttering (there is no wind in the space), why can we not see the star in 1:23, 1:54, 2:03, 5:11.. the whole iss fake.. FUCK NASA

  • Alas NASA asked for the WRONG type of Spacecraft ! You need a better rocket not to be stuck in LEO since 1973 ! The Space Shuttle can´t go to Mars !! It is designed for a spacestation ( ISS ) You need a Ares (V) Rocket HLV ! Look at my channel what NASA needs to Mars !! Dr. Robert Zubrin said it all !!

  • @wehsen Wow! Ok thanks for the information.

  • @7olusegun

Each of the two solid rocket boosters weighs about 590 metric tons (including solid propellants weighing 500 tons x 2), the fully loaded external tank adds about 750 tons (including 710 tons of super cold liquid propellants). Add the maximum weight of the orbiter (the actual "spacecraft") and you have your number of about 2.000 tons. The actual maximum payload weight is 24 tons to low earth orbit and, of course, even less if the mission requires higher orbits.

  • is it pointless to send people to the moon again? would you like gov to spend your taxes for that?
