I'm going to have to agree.. Polaris rangers are horrible! I owned one for two years and it was in the shop half the time. I just got rid of it a month ago. So glad it's gone. It felt like a toy. I just bought an rtv and this thing is a tank. Time will tell how it holds up but so so I'm happy with it. Only complaint is the top speed.
@cobalt120 at the local polaris shop here they went to honda in 1998 and bought a 300 4x4 4wd. when i asked em why they were buying it the kid who came to pick it up told me it was for towing the broke ones around because they were tired of having to fix there shop 4 wheeler every time they put a strain on it! iv owned 2 polaris atvs ( 425 magnum 4x4 and 250 4x4) and they were both hunks of crap. ride for 10 minutes and work on it for 10 days.
Well i have two of the poalris rangers including the 6x6. Perhaps i got a couple lemons. However they were always in the repair shop.
I switched to the cub cadet volunteer and never once have they seen the repair shop. I've had the Kubota rtvs in my line of rental vehicles and they are reliable.
My local polaris dealer bought one of my cub cadets and uses it around his business . Covered up the names with duct tape though.
Exactly...I've ridden in the all except the Kubota and the Cub Cadet. I hate admitting this...but the Polaris Ranger is FAR superior to any that I have personally ridden in...in almost every way. SURE there are a lot of aftermarket parts for the Rhino...but it's much more unstable, cheap feeling, rough riding, etc. than the Polaris. You nailed it on the head...the Rhino, Terex, etc. are toys....the Kubota, Polaris Ranger, etc. are work horses.
Edit "so so" I meant so far.
