Poor stray animals! What a horrible man! Boo to Edison. Tesla was obviously a genius. He was also obviously suffering with some kind of mental illness (poor guy)...what a shame. He was a legend. Thank you ChiLLipowa for uploading this very interesting story.

Tesla was Serbian (born of Serbian mother and Serbian father) in Croatia.
And that's where it stops.
To all the people saying he was Croat I can simply say - get a brain.

I was born in Croatia too, and I am a Serb too. Like thousands of Serbs. Croatia is just a political territory.

He was a Serb and his father was a serb. In each book, document or other things he writes that he was a Serb. He said that he was a Serb. But is he a Serb or Croat is not important. Important is that he was the greatest invetor ever.
Charles Proteus Steinmetz (April 9, 1865 October 26, 1923) was a German-American mathematician and electrical engineer. He fostered the development of alternating current that made possible the expansion of the electric power industry in the United States, formulating mathematical theories for engineers. He made ground-breaking discoveries in the understanding of hysteresis that enabled engineers to design better electric motors for use in industry
