Ah so it finally uploads! lol
This is my dreads after 4 months.. Looking a lot different, more natural, more love. No waxing or palm rolling for a few months, also I had taken out the ones on the top and redone them. Correction: I stopped waxing after around a month or so..

  • Your dreads look pretty :-) Sometimes I wish I left my wispy ends...and made them a little smaller....but i'm happy about it at the same time. lol. You look like you have a lot more hair too though

  • @KrystleJoy7 Thanks :) And its not too late to comb them out and make them smaller. Ie been doing it slowly

  • They look so good free and natural. Keep them that way and don't worry about loose hair, they'll all find their own place in time. I was really worried and stressing over loose hair at first but you'll get used to them. Just keep an eye on the dreads near the loose hair. Some times loose hair can congo your dreads together. And even if that happens its not the end of the world; it's just how they wanted to be. Peace and good luck with them. They're beautiful just the way they are!

  • @Labrooq Haha Thanks! I appreciate it <3

  • @Dreadtip Thanks :)

  • @samanthapearl7 they were thin strips of loose hair but a lot, on the back and sides was easy because from sleeping i guess the hairs moved around from when i move my head, but the front and top i tried to make the hairs frizzy and stick them inside the dread and just palm rolled them, i used rubber bands the first 6 months on the front and top to, which helped a lot.

  • @Dreadtip But how much loose hair did you have? I have thick chunks coming from the root. Like a lot. I could make really small dreads out of them if I wanted to lol.

  • @Hollibal666Lecter Thanks! My friend showed me a way to weave the loose hairs into the dreads that doesnt seem to damage them at all. Its not like crocheting them to tighten them... I tried it on a few. Im not a pro..

  • @samanthapearl7 just dont worry about it, that's the great thing about going natural. you just let them do their thing!!!!!! but if it's really bothering you I guess you can crochet..... but that really damages your hair. I've heard it's like shooting bullets through, that's how much damage it does.

  • i just let my loose hairs be and for some reason they founds its way into the dread, but had to rip couple of them apart cuz they were being tangled into each other
