F16 vs bird

F-16 engine ingests bird after takeoff at Tyndall AFB. Think you might find it interesting to see a crash from the cockpit of an airplane. It is an instructor pilot in the rear and a student in the front seat of an F-16.

It's not an F-16, it's a Canadian CT-155 Hawk.

You can tell by the look of the HUD, which is completely different, by the siren-like sound, which the F-16 doesn't have, and the most obvious difference is the voice system, the F-16 system has a female voice, whereas this Hawk has a male voice as you can hear.

@xmuzzx You are right... My uncle is a fighter jet pilot here in Norway, and we only have F-16's (We're gonna have F-21's replacing them soon.) So I know whats a F-16 and what isn't.

A bird strike cannot bring down an FAA approved passenger aircraft, they can all fly without one engine, that is part of the certification process.

also you can hear there breathing just before they eject they completely panic poor guys... BUT DONT FORGET TO GET A SEAT NEXT TO THE EXIT NEXT TIME YOU FLY INCASE THIS HAPPENS...
