That was so uncomfortable to watch. I feel sorry for that team. Too many Gridiron teams take Maori Haka and try to recreate them, then claim that they have islanders in their team so its all good. That would only be right if the teams had Maori people in their team. I have not yet found a team which performs a Haka, the Maori war challenge and has a Maori person in it. This team probably doesn't even know what they saying, and they sure as hell have no idea how to perform it. Just disgraceful.

@siuannebby 1) I'm not Maori, i'm a proud white New Zealander 2) If they're Tongans, why don't they have knowledge about the Sipi Tau? That's what Tongans perform, its very different than what is performed here.

Also, i'm not singling this team out. That pointless excuse of "There are Tongans in our team, so it's alright" is used by every ignorantly arrogant gridiron team that attempts this. These performances are about copying one of the most successful sports teams in the world. Nothing more.

@fonrainka Watch "the best all blacks haka ever" (which this is apparently a video response to) and you'll see how a Maori Haka is supposed to be performed. Each one of the All Blacks shows more pride and emotion in the Haka than that entire gridiron team.
