Long Ride Home (Patty Griffin cover)

This Patty Griffin song was the first bit of "Austin" music one of my excellent Texas friends introduced me to (thanks Heavy P!), and I've been following her closely ever since.

Years later, I was pleasantly surprised to find that my amazingly talented songstress cousin, Sherry Ryan (www.sherryryan.com) also knew & loved Patty Griffin, and we'd do this here song at family parties and what-not... and on this occasion Sherry was kind enough to join me on stage to do it again.

Sherry's high on my list of musical heros. :)
