MSX - The Goonies (1986) - Stage 2

Back at my most memorable game again, after a little platform practice with The Treasure Of Usas. I managed to record a run of stage 2 under 10 minutes, including finding all but one hidden treasures.

- torch (or flashlight?), scene 07-01: reveals one other treasure, I think, and then it drops from your inventory
- green book, scene 08-02: makes you invulnerable to skulls, but it wears down eventually
- powerup, scene 06-03: restores some vitality
- light blue book, scene 10-04: no idea what this does
- red book, scene 09-03: I know it is here, but I don't know how to make it appear

It is better to play the game from the beginning than to use the password system to skip a few stages. In stage 1 you will find the shoes; this treasure you cannot do without. It increases your walking speed to an acceptable level.

There is a trick to get rid of the fratelli gang members (those brightly colored enemies) that chase you. Punch them down right under falling rock or those chained-up boulders. After a short while they will respawn at their starting location.
