1.Download
http://rapidshare.com/files/294397544/CommCenter

Backup original CommCenter (goes without saying...)
Replace CommCenter in: /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/CoreTelephony.framework/Support/ with the patched one.
Chmod the new CommCenter to 755


2.Open /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/M68AP.plist

I used ipodrobot to edit

and insert a true boolean value for "mms" under capabilities

3. Reboot...Done

4.If it does not work right then, set your apn settings.

cellular data

apn wap.cingular

username -blank-
passwork -blank-

Can anybody confirm that this still works???? I get the feeling that as soon as ATT recognizes 2g iPhone, they block MMS all together.

@scoogiescott yes it works. 3g and 3gs have mms on them. the only reson 2g does not have it because its too slow and you need 3g. but it will work, you just have to follow everything. make sure your apn settings are right. this video is not for apn settings. you can find videos about it.

well with 3g, its already on the iphone. this is for 2g bro. i havent messed with 3g that much. but if your apn settings are set right, it should work.

So I dont' have Wifi so I can't WinSCP. I know how to edit the M68AP file, but i am having problem chmod the CommCenter to 755. How can i can the permission to the CommCenter on window with out using FTP or r there any simply program I can use? Please Help

so i used DiskAid on vista and got up to replacing the original commcenter with the downloaded one. the problem is there is no "properties" area, so i can't chmod. i have few options when i right click it and now i'm stuck. plz help!
