One of a kind Harrison Steam Engine running at Old Threshers. This engine was buried in the Missouri River for forty years. It is the only engine with the smokestack going through the steam dome.

  • WOW! Buried in a river for 40 yrs.

It just goes to show anything can be restored if you put your mind to it.

  • It is a remarkable piece of machinery. It was a static display for many years, and the owner finally decided that it should be fired up for the public. Most engines of this vintage disappeared in the scrap drives of WWI.
