WTF? Is this what it has come to? I never EVER saw an officer go back on arresting somebody once they declare someone "Under arrest", NEVER. Why does this officer have his hands on the black guys neck? How was that black guy allowed to go freee? I do not think this was a race issue. Though I am aware that again the suspect is black and the officers white, I think this was a case of police overstepping their bounds and going a little too far to say the least. I'm only holding out because the officers conrtend that the EMT guy had assaulted the officer. this however is not on the tape.

Now if it come out that the EMT guy did not do anything to warrant that arrest then I say to throw the damn book at those officers. Think about this, if they can do that to an EMT driver, then they can do anything to anybody. I beleive that the man cell phone camera saved that EMT's freedom, career, and maybe even his life. Cell phone cameras have shown themselve to be a blessing in disguise.




This will only stop when people start to fight back.

I'd say many people in this day and age would like it if there was little need for police officers. If all people were as rational as you, maybe it could be like that. You are correct, this country, this world, needs to have an enforcement system overhaul, one that includes more rationalization and more fairness (much like what I heard you speak of), and less injustice, hatred, and the willingness to ignore the law. Cops these days think more with their guns and less with their heads....
