Walking into Ueno Park, Tokyo

Brian and I decided on our tight budget that Ueno Park would be a good place for us to visit because it is A: Free, B: Pretty Big, and C: Has some really neat Temples, Shrines and walking trails. The only downside to Ueno Koen (park) is that there is a large homeless population here (in comparison to the rest of Tokyo, and this particular population is highly controversial and difficult to explain) and it's kind of hard for me to see tent cities and not want to help people... thus is the life of an anthropologist and activist.
