@rfvtgbzhn Wenn's so wäre würde ich's nicht erfinden und bauen! Google mal nach USB2LPT. (URLs kann ich hier nicht posten.)
Nur für Drucker wäre dieses USB2LPT Zeit- und Geldverschwendung, das ist korrekt.

@lenamhai Solche Adapter gibts eh in normalen Shops günstig zu kaufen, nur eben als direkte Kabelverbindung zwischen USB-A und LPT, nicht wie in dem Video mit dem Mini-B-Anschluss und extra Kabel. Und LEDs ist normalerweise auch keines dabei, aber das braucht man eh nicht (ein rnormaler Parallel-Port hat ja auch keine). Beispiel: geizhals.at/eu/686731

@elerepair I'd say to prevent any shorted vias due to the metal casing.
